At House of Doggo, we take pride in the quality of our products and want you to love your purchase. This Returns & Exchanges Policy outlines the conditions under which items may be returned or exchanged, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges

You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration will not be eligible for return or exchange.

You may choose not to provide certain information, however this may limit your ability to use some features of our website..

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty or defective:

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Once verified, we will offer a replacement, exchange, or refund in line with the Consumer Protection Act.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested replacement item is unavailable, you may choose an alternative item or request a refund.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your payment provider.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable courier service, as House of Doggo cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Online Orders & Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, customers may cancel an online order within 7 days of receipt, provided the item meets the return conditions stated above.
